Dr. Robika Mylroie

Dr. Mylroie is a licensed professional counselor who works with children and adolescents. She grew up in Tupelo, MS. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Millsaps College and her Masters and PhD from Mississippi State University in Counseling. While working as a school counselor, she pursued her LPC. She currently works for Lamar University as a Distance Clinical Professor and is the school counselor at St. Anthony Catholic School in Madison.

Dr. Mylroie is a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and is certified in Animal Assisted Therapy and Equine Assisted Therapy. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy and believes that using a growth mindset approach with children and adolescents will empower them to understand more about themselves and their core beliefs.

Dr. Mylroie is a member of the American Counseling Association, the Association for Creativity in Counseling, the American School Counselor Association, Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development, and the Association for Specialists in Group Work.
